Marc Brunet was appointed President & CEO of Logibec and subsidiary MDI Achieve in July 2010. Brunet joined Logibec in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer and played an integral role in the growth of Logibec, making it one of the fastest growing North American companies specializing in software for the healthcare sector. As CFO, Marc oversaw the acquisition of five businesses and drove a 62% increase in the business. Prior to his executive roles at MDI Achieve, Brunet served as Vice-President, Finance & Administration at PEAK Financial Services and Chief Financial Officer at Proxima Systems Ltd., Montreal. He has also held various investment banking roles of increasing responsibility at Merrill Lynch, Canada. As President and Chief Executive Officer, Brunet develops the strategy that secures the company mission and vision of MDI Achieve and works with the management team to successfully execute the strategy. Brunet holds an M.B.A from Queen's University, a Masters degree in Mathematics from McGill University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from McGill University.
Brian Cosgrove was hired as MDI Achieve's Chief Financial Officer in April 2011. Cosgrove started his financial career as an auditor with Deloitte. Most recently, Cosgrove held the title of Vice President, Finance and Administration of the Createch Group, a successful subsidiary of Bell Canada and a leading provider of supply chain optimization and IT Solution integration. Cosgrove leads the Finance, Human Resources and Administration teams. In addition, he works closely with the management team on major company initiatives focusing on efficiency and profitability of the company. Cosgrove holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Montreal at Quebec and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Dennis Jakubowicz was hired as MDI Achieve's Senior Vice President, Sales in March 2011. Jakubowicz brings with him extensive experience in business development and sales leadership in the long-term care and healthcare industry. Prior to MDI Achieve, Jakubowicz was the Regional Vice President at OnSiteRx, a long-term care pharmacy provider. In addition, he has held several senior management positions, providing sales growth and marketing solutions to healthcare companies. Jakubowicz leads the MDI Achieve sales team and is focused on building, mentoring and managing the team with a focus on growth and profitability. Jakubowicz holds a degree from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA.
Sylvain Trudeau began his professional career with Logibec at the company's inception in 1982. Sylvain was promoted to Vice President of Logibec in 2002 and is currently the Senior Vice President, Development for MDI Achieve. Trudeau has more than 25 years managing development teams and ensuring quality products are delivered to the market. During his tenure as Senior Vice President of Development, Trudeau has optimized development processes for MDI Achieve products and continues to lead the product and technical development for all MDI Achieve solutions including product management, development, and quality assurance functions. Trudeau holds a degree from the College of Saint Hyacinthe in Quebec.
Kevin Whitehurst has served as Vice President of Client Services since 1996. Prior to his current role, he provided IT expertise and development for Chesapeake Healthcare Systems, a software provider to the long-term care industry, which was acquired in 1995 by then Achieve Healthcare Technologies, now MDI Achieve. Whitehurst has more than 25 years experience in the healthcare IT and long-term care industries. During his tenure as Vice President, Client Services, Whitehurst helped build the support team, assisted in the development of all MDI Achieve products and participated in re-engineering business processes. His responsibilities include overseeing corporate service management, client education, implementation, and customer support. Whitehurst holds degrees from San Bernardino Valley College and the Los Angeles School of Business. Whitehurst also served in the U.S Air Force.
