MDI Achieve's General Ledger generates a variety of different financial statements that can be exported to Microsoft Excel. Bank Reconciliation, Budget Construction, and Fixed Assets management are efficiently performed through this system.

General Ledger is fully integrated with our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll systems. This integration provides access to up-to-the-minute balances on accounts.

Comprehensive Chart of Accounts

General Ledger features a comprehensive chart of accounts designed specifically for the eldercare industry. This chart of accounts can be tailored to fit your unique business environment or you can build your own. General Ledger also provides a "crosswalk" feature to allow you to associate the accounts of your facility’s customized chart of accounts with specific accounts of any other chart of accounts that may be mandated.

Automatic Posting to General Ledger and "Snapshot" Capabilities

All cash transactions from Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll are posted to the General Ledger automatically. This eliminates the necessity of closing accounts and batching totals in order to provide balances. Therefore, the system provides unique “snapshot” capabilities featuring real-time balances.

Custom Report Writing

General Ledger features a Custom Report Writer, with export to Excel, included with the package at no additional charge. This provides the flexibility to develop custom reports and analyze financial data, according to your facility's needs.

Multi-Company Consolidation and Reporting

For clients with multiple facilities, General Ledger offers multi-company consolidation and reporting. This feature allows for analysis of individual facilities or the company as a whole.

Fixed Assets

General Ledger includes a Fixed Assets program that integrates with our Accounts Payable module to allow for the flow of invoice information. Fixed Assets also provides the ability to track the location of assets and assign salvage values. Plus, the program offers a choice of depreciation methods and a variety of reporting functions.
