MDI Achieve Point of Care is a fully integrated resident documentation tool that records real-time observations to help maximize revenue and reduce risk, all at the same time.
MDI Achieve Point of Care is designed to provide immediate data entry at the point the service is rendered, using tablet and/or kiosk computers, providing real-time resident data across the facility. Activities of Daily Living observations are summarized and provided on the MDS with a suggested answer for the resident’s look-back period. Restorative minutes are compiled to equate for restorative days. Plus, users can record pain intensities and location for better pain management services.
According to McKnight’s Long-Term Care News magazine, "on average, SNF’s sacrifice $7.04 per Medicare Part A day as a result of billing errors or systematic downcoding of the MDS." This translates to approximately $2500 per year in increased revenue that facilities could collect just by capturing all of the care they are already providing.
With MDI Achieve Point of Care, all ADLs, Mood and Behavior, Restorative and other pertinent data are provided to the MDS Coordinator, with the recommended answer, based upon the observation period, guaranteeing accuracy and reliability of the MDS. In this way, the system feeds resident information into the clinical module’s Resident Monitor, which, in turn, feeds information to the MDS, allowing facilities to ensure they are billing at the appropriate reimbursement level based on the care they are providing.
When properly used, MDI Achieve Point of Care creates a legal record of care provided, and records this information. With all observations documented in real-time, MDI Achieve Point of Care helps keep your risk management at an all-time low.
Our goal is to help your facility run as smoothly, efficiently and effectively as possible, so you can spend more time doing what you do best - taking care of your residents.
